Winds Northerly increasing to 15 to 20 knots during the morning and reaching 25 knots at times. Winds tending north to northwesterly 10 to 15 knots around midday then tending west to northwesterly during the afternoon.
Seas 0.5 to 1 metres increasing to 1.5 metres around dawn then decreasing to below 0.5 metres around midday.
Sunday BOM forecast for Port Phillip Bay:
Northerly 15 to 20 knots turning northwesterly in the early afternoon.
Pt Fairy Lach...high tide at 1 (so shouldn't have to worry about hitting bottom), 20kts NW increasing - should be puuuurfect!
Taking GPS for its maiden voyage, just hope I work out how to use it.
