Where is every one windsurfing this weekend?
Myself:
Not alot of wind forecast.
Saturday – I will be getting gear ready for some TV filming that a few of us will be part of on Monday.
Sunday – Maybe garden works if the wind forecast does not change for the better.

Saturday forecast change
South to southeasterly 5 to 10 knots increasing to 10 to 15 knots around midday and reaching 20 knots at times during the afternoon.
Went to East Coast Windsurfers season opener last night. It was great to catch up with the crew and a few a drinks and counter meal.
Nearly 4 hours at sandy today (sunday) on my 5.0 with 1.5 to 2.0m surf. another 8 guys out too. Stoked! ![]()
Nice!
I was lucky to get a offshore sail off Mornington. Only direction that it is stronger here than anywhere else in the bay. Gusting to 30knots at midday. Sailed to mt. Martha and back.
Longboard & 6.6, sat afternoon, Hampton Beach to Beacon and back.
Big chop made the beacon unapproachable ![]()
I made the journey, but failed the mission objectives !
it felt dead quick, daggerboard up and fully planing on pretty much beam reach both ways,20kt+ish wind 5km each way so maybe 15 mins each way I guess would be 20km/h or a fairly conservative 10.8 knots, so i think maybe even quicker!
My sense of time totally goes on the water though.
Last time i did it on a shortboard I had to slog back, no fun.
My mission objective was a winning entry for TheZu's
"put our sticker somewhere great" competition.
Beacon was swarming with traffic, 5-6 big ships, and the coast guard, waited maybe 1/2 hour but wasn't happening.
