I thought I'd kick this off since I am ronery this Saturday windsurfing, and it'd be good to see if anyone is going out. WSW - looking good thus far - and am thinking Elwood or St Kilda....

Times - prob 12 PM - 3 PM ish.....

Who's going out and where?

This is not an official Windsurfing K-Dog event

Sandy Point or Inverloch if there's a bit of South in it. Not sure which just yet.

What's Mt Martha like in a wsw-w Stephen?

WSW is one of the best directions for Mount Martha. The guys from ECW maybe there this weekend.

From the city it maybe a bit of an hour. Would have a check on whereis or google earth for time.
When we could be there, maybe after lunch. I will update this post tomorrow. Plus I'm starting to submit where I go on twitter. AUS770

Either Safety Beach or Mt. Martha, early afternoon. Both good in w-sw.

Yeah it is an hour from the city if traffic is good. Avoid the Moorooduc Freeway on the way home, all the tourists take it so gets busy around 5pm on weekends city bound. Nepean Hwy is actually better during tourist times.

Got a little sail at Pt. Leo. It was off and on a bit, but ok.

sun arvo in geelong went from 10 knots to 20 around 2pm
which left me rigging my 6.7m slalom.

was a good test of my new pfd as I found uphauling a 6.7 on a 120 litre board a no go.
nothing like a good blast and then swimming your gear back to shore!

i really need to get this water start thing nailed
