Where is every one windsurfing this weekend?

The weather forecast looks to be another good weekend for places like Rye and Greens Point. Other places around the bay could be Bonbeach, Keast Park and possible even Inverloch.

Forecast for Saturday
Winds: West to northwesterly 10 to 15 knots becoming northwesterly 15 to 20 knots during the afternoon then increasing to 20 to 25 knots later in the evening. Seas: 1 to 1.5 metres.

Forecast for Sunday
Winds: Northwesterly 20 to 25 knots increasing to 25 to 30 knots during the afternoon. Seas: 1 to 1.5 metres increasing to 2 metres during the afternoon.

Sandy pt is looking great for a wave sail both Sat/Sun if anyone is interested.
Should be a fresh swell coming in Sat arvo/night.

Sat the options will be either Warratah - at 'the gap' or just in front of the life saving club. Sunday the life saving club is looking the goods..

there will be a few of us there so if anyone is interested or has any questions let me know

Green point on Sunday at the moment...

NW is ideal for green point and means a shorter swim in at the end

Looks like its Green Point as the place to go Sunday Saturday

.

Early in the morning for me (circa 7AM), might even get some wind at that time.

BOM has downgraded the forecast on Sunday from 25- 30kts to bugger all 15 kts perhaps 20 if we are lucky. May be they are wrong as usual and it's blowing instead.[}:)]

You're a minority. Personally I love the seat harness feel too. Tried to convert to a waist but ended up selling it and going back to my seat harness. It's completely personal but I love the loaded up feeling, even if it doesn't 'look as cool.'

just an FYI for you big smokers

clifton springs and portarlington were a steady 18-20 (+) knots right up to 2pm and swell was small at around 0.5 - 1ft max.

There was over hald dozen of us at Bonbeach until the wind started to drop off at 4pm. Was good for at least 3 to 4 hours about 20+ knots from the North.
Blue skies would have been nice.
