Where is every one windsurfing this weekend?

Myself:
Saturday – Not much wind forecast, maybe family duties.
Sunday – If the forecast stays true then maybe a trip to Inverloch or stay at home ground Bonno.

With regards to the informal clinics on the bay, keep an eye on this post and future 'Where are you Windsurfing this Weekend' posts.

Refer to the extract from BOM forecast below for Port Philip Bay.
Local Waters Forecast for Port Phillip

Issued at 5:10 am EST on Friday 6 May 2011

Forecast for Saturday
Winds: Variable wind to 10 knots tending northerly during the morning at around 10 knots before tending southwesterly at around 10 knots during the afternoon. Seas: Below 0.5 metres.

Forecast for Sunday
Winds: West to northwesterly 10 to 15 knots tending southwesterly at 20 to 25 knots during the afternoon. Seas: Below 0.5 metre increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres during the afternoon.

Please note; this is not a WV event and this post is to be used as information only. The intent of this post is for windsurfers to post where they could be going to windsurf this weekend and for other windsurfers to possible come and join them.

I hate thoses forecasts that start out light and supposedly build later in the day. End up putting off other activites (getting tricky with Mother's day) and sit around waiting. Will it? Will it? "Sorry honey can't go the the market this arvo, but we can have a coffee at the beach side cafe"
Probably Hampton or Dendy for me.

Maybe Inverloch Sunday for me. Not looking promising, but it's been a while... will take backup plan (sup) just in case.

With that forecast I may prepare for longboard cruising on Sunday. May be starting from Bonno, then swap the board if and when it cranks up in the arvo.
