Where is every one windsurfing this weekend?
The weather forecast looks to be a bit light for the weekend. Myself I’m going to try and get a sail at Bonbeach Sunday if the North wind kicks in as forecast. There may some wind at Inverloch from the East on Saturday.
This weekend is the second weekend of KA Speed Fortnight at Sandy Point and there would a number of windsurfers at Sandy Point.
Refer to the extract from BOM forecast below for Port Philip Bay.

IF a Sat seabreeze comes in then its N end of Elwood with 155L/8.5m
The webcam shows catamarans setting up but often sailboats go out and sit in nothing at all. ive done it in Lasers before, then I saw the light !
Theres no return possible from w/surf to a dinghy
(maybe a moth, or 3 men skiffs!)
Seabreeze looks like it is trying to build. Better not have any beers watching the grand final just in case it does.Might try Dendy st or Hampton Beach if it picks up.
dud dud dud.
got on the plane twice,
both pumping like a carnt and upwind for as much aparent wind as poss!!, then a quick shifty in the harness to lighten the load.
i went out at fishermans bay (next to zeallys) in torqs.
saw some cool wildlife tho:
1st ray was a big round stinger
2nd ray small and FAST
3rd ray was bigger than a mini cooper !!! in 4 ft of water.
same size as the ones in Narooma river NSW. (2.5m wide by 2.5m long?)
Nice to see some real wildlife for a change.
