Where is every one windsurfing this LONG weekend?

Myself:
Thursday – hoping to get the afternoon off to go for a sail at Bonno.
Friday – if time permits after I drop off the wife at the airport (~1om) and if the wind sticks around I try and sail locally.
Saturday and Sunday – I might go and take out my RS-One for some practice.
Monday and Tuesday – might have to spend time with the wife once she returns.

With regards to the informal clinics on the bay, keep an eye on this post and future 'Where are you Windsurfing this Weekend' posts.

Had great sail in light to miedium winds with my RS:One today for about 4hours. Tested out all angles. Planned about 70% of the time.

First time at sandy point waves today (Saturday). Daunting for a learner wave sailor but proved very gentle despite being over head high at times. Cross-shore conditions, 15-18 knots, 10 year old naish nalu 5.3, semi waterlogged 100 l freestyle wave board and an unfit 88 kg body with sore neck. Was fun! Trashed several times on way out but the long wave interval makes it easier than some of the heavier onshore conditions of the bay. Strangely this treatment was as effective as the Physio in loosening the neck. Six others out, though they left before the wind really filled in at mid arvo (fully overpowered at times) with sun out. Bliss:) I now ache but have some experience in climbing 5 ft of whitewater without saying 'oh Fu€k' and falling in. And I can pull off a very shabby bottom turn. The question now is with eight months till 40, can I squeeze in the forward?

In summary, SP is highly recommended to the wave sailing aspirant seeking to build confidence and looking to find wind when the bay is light.
