Do my eyes deceive me or do I actually see 18 degrees forecast for next Saturday on the Seabreeze weather forecast???!!!

If there is a merciful god up there...please let there be good wind as well

Looking forward to a weekend off work for once and getting out for a blast to clear away the cobwebs. Pray to the wind gods to bring it on. ejm if we can hook up I give you a go on the mistral you will be using in Fiji - mine is in a little better condition though!

Sounds good! So, do you have the whole weekend off?

Okay it's hot enough but the wind doesn't seem to be getting above 15 knots, 12 currently... And now I hear the first drops of rain on the roof
Probably should of gone out this morning...

Anyone been/going out?

got out this afternoon, had about 5 runs comfortably powered with 5.2 and 70L FSW at point ormond before the wind died for ages. then came back super strong and gusty. it was pretty fun apart from the monster gusts that came through and nearly blew me off the water.

Well I went out , first time since Summer.

After complaining of too little wind I got to St Kilda to find low to mid 20 knot winds and very strong gusts, not the best conditions for an amateur like me, especially since I was the only one out there.

At one stage I realised if I didn't get the sail up soon I was going to be quickly blown out to sea. It's all part of the fun of it I guess.

I finally called it a day when I saw the only other animal in the water was a penguin, lol.

Old Salty and I ended up at Lysterfield Lake. Figured it would be too strong for us out in the bay. Morning started well (although I rigged too big) with probably 15 knots winds gusting to 20. Came in to change down to a 6.5 and that was it for the rest of the day, wind died, teased us a bit and then died again. Packed up around 4 I think.
