6ft south-westerly swell and a solid easterly.

Anyone heading down?

Perhaps a more reserved use of 'dude', 'son' and 'chickies' would also help to maintain a degree of cover from the keen eye and red pen of Laurie. Its a bit like having red hair in school - easy to spot and therefore an obvious target. Ginger Pom and I know all about this having been raised in the English education system where the smallest point of difference is enough reason to smack you in the mouth - hence the liberal use hair dye to lighten things up a little...

thats harsh...... wish i was there. 8 weeks off water is going to kill me especially when the loops were just happening...... time to build up lots of brownie points to cash in later. p.s anyone else want to blow up the reef at Dendy Street

The dendy st reef is the worse reef i think in the bay. The reef is razor sharp. I think the council should bring in the diggers and dig out some of the reef.

it was about 25knts, cross off ,,, ALL day... with an ok swell.. about 1/2 maSt on the sets

sandy point was super cross off/ gusty and mega clean... warratah was a better direction, not as clean though.

best thing was it was all on PORT TACK... yay.

morning high tide was best, then off to low tide speed run in the arvo, i'm stoked

put a couple of pics up.

Did you sail out from the shop, or walk across the sand-spit? Its almost always MUCH better to do the walk, as the shop is nearly always gusty.

It frequently tends to be just a little bit bigger across the spit too.
