With great sadness, IWC mourns the loss of one of its original and esteemed members. Ray Fehlberg passed away suddenly on Sunday.
Ray was the epitome of the club- whether it be pitching in to help at events or sneaking off midweek for a session. He was great to sail with, and always up for a joke. He was pretty quick too!
Rest in peace mate, and thanks for the great times.
Mick

Sad times. Still remember he and I sitting out in the middle of Area 45 on a sandbar resting our weary bones and having a chuckle whilst Kato zipped backwards and forwards trying to chase the old salts onto the water again. He and sailing bud Martin used to take Friday's off and go windsurfing at Invy or Sandy Point. One of the Club's early members. The Club will work on something special as a rememberance. Doug sounds like a good idea, a Ray Day to honour a great windsurfer.

Ray was a great bloke, who always had a big smile on his face. He loved his windsurfing and sailed every Fiday all year round, rain, hail or shine. A truely inspiring guy.
