A big thanks to all the windsurfers we met at Inverloch on Saturday.

For us the wind strength was perfect and the tips lozza (?) gave us was helpful. I hope you get some good wind to really try that yellow baord of yours out.

It looks like we've found our place this summer and hope to see you all there again.

BTW, to the person that gave us the Allison Shreeve flyers, you should have our applications on your email and $$ in your account!!

To jog your memory, we were the couple with the starboard go's

Hey,
Glad you enjoyed the Inlet.
I rocked up just after Lozza.
When the seabreeze kicked in at about 2.30 , the sandbank was awesome...super flat water all the way along the bank.
Whenever you are heading down, fling an email to the club or post on seabreeze....you are bound to be joined by a few of the crew (we don't need much of an excuse to head to Invy!)
Catch you out there!
Mick

Was there Monday for a few hours. Bit gusty but decent conditions.

Regarding your question about the new sandbar forming Mick - I didn't notice that one in particular but I did notice (actually, have been aware of the change for a while) it's changing a great deal at the end of the strip and just yesterday noticed mid way along the strip there's a new sandbar forming that comes straight out towards the caravan park. I was very cautious sailing over it and it was only mid way to low tide. May have to start sailing on the other side of the sandbar soon!

I arrived at 3.30 when the wind had died Still got out and had some fun practising(NB EVAN) my light wind gybes and tacks. Enjoying the new Tush thurderbird 7.5 - it may have taken over from the Gaastra GTX 8.5. Welcome Echunda, glad you enjoyed it. We are always up for a helpful hint or two so do not be frightened to ask.
LOZZA you are a star in your own backyard Well done.
Echunda you and your partner should check out www.driftmedia.com.au/iwc

I thought you were.

I've already checked out the website and we want to become members.
AS you've seen by my emails, we're intedning to come to the Allison Shreeve weekend. Once you dropped off the flyers we went oaround and booked our campsite for the weekend.

I'll post up every time we go and I'll try and get some action shots of everyone when we see you all next time!

geez I only said straighten your arms and control the rig more with your shoulders.

I don`t have many tips but I`ve got the odd bit from ejmack (got me planning both straps) and improved my water-starts (last year) Drift was talking me through my gybes on Saturday.

My point is we are all this this together

See you on the week-end if it`s blowing, if not with Allison the week after.

Hey lozza,
Shall I bring the "summertime lilac" boom????
I think NP choice of pastel colours has really improved the fashion stakes on the water.
I just wanted to check again that my extremely hard core mauve and white boom cracked 21 knots last week while your black one did how much again??????

Hey Mick
Are yes, very funny, as mine has flames on it, it should go much faster, must be a manufactering fualt.
When they make a boom like yours in a boy colour let me know

Hows the one-design board shaping up. I`m up for it. It would be great if we could have a few races. Sound like something everyone could get involved with. Bit of fun, few laughs.

See you on the water..

I am thinking of spraying the JP into a puce or amber (aka like the early bombora tri fins)
I'll top it off with some coloured zinc and we are away!!!!

30 is a special year. Much better to have a mild celebration so that you can build to a bigger celebration the following year..

Ginger's probably right, I broke my own rule - which is not to decide until the night before (and even then it might change). I'll go were ever it looks best on the day!

Inverloch is looking good all day Sunday but particularly in the AM. Enjoy fellas, I want SMS on new pbs when they happen. I will be thinking of you unless I can convince the wife that a drive to Inverloch is the best way for us to celebrate our wedding anniversary
