Yo Yo!!
Hope all is well guys, I've been absolutely loving these South Easterlies because there is really only one location to hit, Parky or Ricketts, which is great because everyone from around the bay sails in one location, the great thing about this is that it means we can push ourselves a little harder!
You can send that Forward, Boost the Backie, or even get reckless trying a downwind 360 down the face of a roller!
So what i propose to the group of PPB windsurfers is that we all get a little bit Gen Y, and go and get a twitter account (its very easy) twitter.com/ . From there we can very easily 'tweet' where we are headed so we have someone on the water with us!
What do you say?? Lets give it a crack!!
Steve
Or you can use the gong off page on the WV web site. Where you can let every one know where you are sailing. If the location is one of your favourites it will email you. Check it out there is more great stuff
Steve lets pick a hashtag, and off we go!
I propose #wvic. Can you think of a better tag?
Stephen, the website's nice, but Twitter's much nicer on a phone. It takes seconds to tweet from the beach. You can also tweet photos, and be as cool as the kiters ;) .... you get the picture :-)
Other tips
Try to turn on geo location when you tweet...
Say whether it's good, bad, improving etc and whether you're launching or coming ashore.
An app that you could press buttons with your sails, board, launching/coming ashore status... Would be cool... If someone knows how to write twitter apps
