Woke up today ready for my sunday morning sail and all I hear is Tsuami this and that.
WTF????
Being in Melbourne I believe that we will be quite scheilded by the bay but the waters are sure to rise and create some surf conditions in the bay.
I wonder what will happen with the BRW triathlon?
They made no mention of it..... business as usual... I wonder if anyone even knew anything at all about it....
making no fuss about a maybe situation sounds cool, but inaction when something does happen is not looked at so cool... I just hope that the "powers" that be who get the info, make informed decisions....
My wife wouldn't let me go out on sailing until I found the warning on the BOM site. Apparently we were in an unaffected area. Did not become a marine threat until eastern Vic.Was there a wave on the east? Have not read the papers.
