Been buzzing all night so just wanted to share!... Yesterday was the best conditions for beginner me with my oversized boards and small rigs. Saw the wind was looking ok up towards st Kilda so picked up mate at aspendale, to lazy to drive further we just launched from there.. I got a 155 with 5.7 sail and my fanatic fly sup with a 6.2...
The party offshore was amazing, the chop normally kills me, light guy on big floaty with the wind catching I'm either falling off the plane or blown out of control.. Yesterday was perfect and the sup did amazing, I think the little thrusters helped me stay up wind a bit, actually got the chance to settle into the plane and get the rhythm , taking pressure off as you hit the rise of a wave then sinking in the harness as you ride the little face.... Amazing!!!!!

The wind meter for frankston seem ed way off yesterday, it must be sheltered from south / easterly? Felt more like Faulkner becon at aspendale, 15-18 knots, I wonder if bonno was just a few knots less, if so I'm glad I drove 10 mins up the road...

Ok I'm done.......
