Just curious where everyone's heading Saturday? Green point and Rye? Wait for the cool change instead?

Been doing non-windsurfing things (I know, one true religion) for way too long, and I can hear the call of the wind again.

North bay temp. is edging up to 17degs - so shorty weather! Definitely not getting cooked in a full wetsuit on Saturday!

Gotta be Green Point in the morning. I'll be the one stupidly overpowered on a 5.3

For what it's worth: Green Point cranked at 4.7's and below from about 9.30 on. Was told by a returnee that Rye had at leat 12 knots and that the kiters were struggling to stay in the sky.

Also sailed at Elwood in the PM on the 4.7 and got blown off the water.

Was hoping for a quiet day to revover today but 20-25 in the PM will lure me out.

For what it's worth: I ended up at Bonbeach as I was invited by windaddict.

And it was a blast! I was on a 5.0, and everyone else on bigger sails eventually switched down to 5.0 or similar. Perfect cross shore conditions with clean water and a gentle sandy beach. Way better than green point for a northerly IMHO (rocks and wind shadow). Oh and it was interesting windsurfing with waves coming from only a single direction - unlike the northern beaches.

The best part was the local windsurfers. I didn't get all your names, but it was amazing watching all of you gibing and jumping like pros in your environment. Everyone friendly and smily. Definitely coming back!
