after a 3 month wait my kits here and the winds died, i was looking forward to getting out today.

i think i have more chance of bump starting a motor boat.......

Scott,

Whilst there are many things that you have to learn when becoming a windsurfer, the two most important are:

1. You learn to be an optimist.

2. You learn to be patient.

This lack of wind will pass, just like food passing down the alimentary canal

got out for the first time and it was great, the waters warm and the wind was light but ok for my 7.4 and 122 starboard.

not sure what beach i sailed just up from the harbour and SHQ.

a few jumps and lots of smiles.

man, your gonna be in heaven when its like this with a 20 knotter SE.

a couple of those and you'l never leave.
