I'm planning on heading out to Sandy for the first time this Saturday. I've been told that there are some ok and sheltered areas to park and have the family out of the wind, while you go off windsurfing. Is this true?
Yes, the fam can get out of the wind if its west to south. No go if its north to east. The inlet area is great for kids to play. Enjoy
