D'ya reckon the conditions will be worth a drive down to Sandy Point for the day from Melbourne tomorrow (Saturday)? For blasting around the inlet on a 6.7 and/or beginner wave sailing on a 5.3?

Windguru is showing knots in the low-teens plus maybe a few more knots from the west-south-west wind direction? And surf-forecast is showing an outgoing tide to mid-afternoon.

Whaddya reckon?

Thanks in advance for any responses

Yeah Im thinking of heading down more for a big gear blast in the inlet though Im not convinced yet.

Might b a bit on shore for the waves at Sandy Point, though I have sailed further around in the corner of Waratah bay when its been wsw and its been ok.

Amen to that! Rolling over and going back to sleep was a much better option this morning
