Looking at maybe getting down to The PIT this weekend sometime. How does it go on a ESE - E and where do I go to get the high tide info
Could be keen for Sunday. Have sailed there on an Easterly with Matt - works well at low tide because the sand bar pops up out of the water on the far side of the channel giving some nice flat water.
Watkins page says add 90 mins to the tide at Port Phillip Heads to get Sandy Point tide times.http://www.earthsci.unimelb.edu.au/~awatkins/WWW/sp.html
Don;t have time to look now...
Maybe see you down there...
Sunday is looking real good for 20-25 in the arvo. Low tide is lunch time, high tide at 6pm. Its looking *very* good at this stage.
thats what seabreeze says but check the BOM it says no wind all week and i find seabeeze dont get it right. i find the bom better what about you guys? i was at sandy point last monday there was no wind just 10 knots. i windsurfed late till the sun went down cause the wind came up to 14 knots. i was the only guy out felt like i owned the beach. i got on a plane for a few seconds then off again. feels like it has been years since i have had a good plane on my sailboard. everytime i go out the wind is to light or to strong like 30+ knots. i think this time of year it is normal tho for us to have crapy wind. but still this spring, summer has been bad a guys for windsurfing.
Hey Matt where are you getting the forecast of 20 - 25 kts from. Every site I am looking at is 17 - 20 kts

local knowledge.
The only catch is that the RPS/North 1-hour race is meant to be on... not sure its going to be windy enough though.
Well we are on for the PIT Sunday. Look forward to catching up with all and sundry for what looks like a 20kt day on the water. Make sure you come and say giday I am driving a Black Toyota Hilux with back pack. On the water I am the one falling off all the time. Might have to talk to Flickyspinny to show me how to do it in style.
I just thinking I was on my barge(144ltr) and thought I would show you all a new trick called The Sit Down Sail Technique. However I was on the F2(104ltr) and got the tail up my backside. It smarts.
Mental.
Totally stacked on a 4.2. I got there about 1 pm just as it stepped it up a notch.
When the tide came in I managed to sail in the pond for an hour (couple of knots less, totally flat water), otherwise it would have been a complete wasted trip. Some guys made it all the way down and didn't sail because the conditions were so nuts.
Knackered.
