Sailing Spots

Hi , just curious as to where would be a great spot in Vic to live with access to good slalom, bump and jump. Saw Metung on the Today show and thought it looked really nice with many waterways , maybe too protected though.
Thinking of retiring from QLD Gold Coast in a year or two and looking at options.

Metung is is fine for windsurfing, but the best place near there is panesville that place is unreal and i think it gets more wind..

Thanks for the info guys. It's getting quite busy with boat traffic here and our normal Broadwater spot is being inundated with moorings. The Gold Coast City Council isn't really interested in passive water sports, we end up playing chicken with jetboats and jetski franchises.

Dont forget Vic is home to the Pit. Nice flat water close in but also great B&J and wave sailing near by

If I was retiring I would b Line to sandy point for sure. Hope tatts numbers come up.

I swear half the jetskiers do not have a boat licence. Bane of my existence during seabreeze summer time.
