I have just scored a decent hot maui sail,but I need to replace a batten.Where do I start looking? I live on the Bellarine peninsula,so local or metro Melbourne tips would be handy
Maui sails do not have a Melbourne distributor as I am aware. If you took it to SHQ/RPS they may have a suitable substitute however if that does not work I found a batten manufacturer/supplier in Sydney on Google a couple of years ago.
I live on the Bellarine too and have a few batten pieces laying around. Post a pic of the type you need and I can let you know if I have something similar.
