I hit Rye this afternoon. About 7 sailors out and one kiter getting dragged into the bushes. A decent 25+ knots. The water down there was bloody freezing! Coldest salt water in Vic at the moment so get your best wetties on.

Great sail apart from having a bad back at the moment.

Close, you're observant, right make, wrong year.

'05 Ezzy and 05' Starboard Acid. I managed to buy both separately, used but in 'Mint' condition. No damage or wear n tear on either. And.. they just happen to match perfectly on colour (Red, white, black).

Sorry my sail was so short, every bump was killing me (strained my back on Monday). Still the pain was worth it.

G, ezzy dont change the design of there sails much, you should of just bragged and said it's a 010, i would not of known, looks brand new.. and your board i dont think it has ever been used, looks like it is nice condition for a 05 model.. you are one lucky dude.. can ya find me a starboard code dude?? and a 05 ezzy like yours and i will be one happy dude

I noticed you were hardly jumping and went home real quick. going to be a windy week i hope you get better soon.. best cure for saw backs is lots of aspirin and rub heaps of goanna rub on ya back a hour before you windsurf..

Looking at the flag on the Grand Hotel from my work desk, I'd say the wind will be very inconsistent - but better in the water than at work!!!!

Perfect timing for that jump considering the cam takes a pic every 1 minute. Wonder who the sailor is and if they are on here ?

Got an excellent afternoon sail at Mornington. My back is a lot better so was able to do very careful jumps. Windy enough for me to use a 4.7m powered up at 90kg.

I had a very pleasant session at Ricketts from about 1.00 to 3.00. 4.7 Kult was spot on for most of it, a bit underdone on occasions.
With just a hint of North in the Westerly ,Ricketts is fabulous. Really flat water on the inside and some nice little waves peeling along the reef.
It wasn't even that cold.
About 5 of us out to enjoy it while the rest of you kept the country running.
Very fun winter sail!!!

Hey Flip, KA do have a 3.3 Kaos for sale. I bought one recently for the next really big storm when it is too strong any of my bigger sails - eg like Big Sunday last September at the PiT, when my 4.4 Koncept was blown straight out of my hands. At the time I bought the 3.3 there were still some brand new 2006 models there at really good prices.

If I remember right his smallest current sail is a 5.4, so will probably have to buy a new boom and mast to go that small. Even going down to a 4.5 or 4.7 like I did will make a big diff and he may be able to use with some mast and boom.

I would love a 3.3 myself for the mega storms but can't afford the extras as well.

i wont go that small leman cause i am a heavy guy. i would only go down to a 4.5 i think. i can hold down my 5.4 in 30 knots, so a 4.5 would be ok for me..
