Conversation overheard at Sandy today.
A: "I can't tell my wife I drove all this way and didn't get a sail. She'll be down that I didn't spend the time with her. It's better for her if I lie to her and tell her I sailed. But then she's perceptive and I'm stupid. She'll be able to tell that I didn't sail because I won't be happy."
B: "You could stop at a brothel on the way home... then you'd be happier and she wouldn't be able to tell you didn't sail."
A: "That could work."
So did you guys get to sail at Sandy or not.
-I'm one of the ones who decided I had too much house/family stuff to do back here, so I didn't go.
-thought I'd combine home duties with a local sail....
No wind here, so that became a day of home duties. No sail, no brothel, no smile!
Stooged yesterday.. Should have known better! Easterlies don't ever happen in June!
Oh well had a fun little SUP
I enjoyed standing on a sand dune for 4 hours at Sandy Point looking at the waves (not). The sideways rain has put me off today, so maybe early tomorrow
