Is it normal for there to be no wind this time of year? If so, when does it normally start to come back?

Due to wife I am going to Geelong on Sunday and she has given me permission to take the gear. Have been out for 6 weeks, so Point Henry or the lake here I come

I will be out as well hopefully so keep an eye out for a white Commodore ute with boards strapped to the top or if I am already out, look for the guy who spends more time in the water than on it

I'd be interested to know how you go/find it as I've been meaning to go down that way for a while now. Am hoping to make it down to Inverloch on the weekend though.
