A mates just bought a new board. It's his fault.
Also I am on annual leave so I have ample windsurfing time. Of course no wind:(
You can sometimes get a seabreeze at Bonbeach, but it needs to be a solid one to get down that far and even then it will be a few knots less than further north. Going another 15 mins up to parkdale is a better alternative than Bonbeach, I find that it is a bit more consistent and not too bad for a south beach. There's a bunch of us who sail there on seabreezes so come by one arvo!
Been out of action for 10 weeks and it seemed windy every second day. Now I think I am ready with a new quiver of sails and.......????? Even a gentle 16+ knts will do me.

Does your quiver include a 7.5 or so? Lots of sailing available if the gear is big.... not so much for 5.5m (except during the storm fronts of course).
Parkdale rocks. Sea breezes have been so so this year to date, but have the feeling they will kick in as of Saturday in line with my annual leave......
Nearly every time I go out the wind drops off , I even got the eye of the NW storms in winter & nearly had to get rescued . I work on a fishing boat & the idear is - no wind @ sea & windy @ home - but it seems to be the other way round !
