Good morning, All,
For those of you who have travelled to Rye to take advantage of a wind forecast of N, 20 -30 kts, found South Channel showing 25 kts but the wind at Rye only 10 kts, this new station at Blairgowie might ease some of the pressure: http://www.blairgowrieys.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=70&Itemid=91.
So, is it possible to get funding for a weather station at the Rye Yacht Club and if so, can it give the graphs like Mordy Yacht Club?

(Should we put pressure on Wind Rider to come up with the goods?)
For info, there is some wind info given at the Mt. Martha Yacht Club which may also save a journey:

... or maybe since everyone is already posting windspeeds, the mr junky might be kind enough to update the bay-map to include all of the data-sources...
Hello, Matthew,
In Andrew's defence, it might get a little bit crowded on the RHS side of the diagram if it were to show Mt. Martha, Frankston, Carrum, Mordialloc, Black Rock, Fawkner Beacon and St. Kilda (plus any others that show up in the future).
Why not just add the URL's to a folder called “Wind Speeds” and click on each site as required?
Hey Guys,
A few new stations for the bay will soon be available on Seabreeze. ![]()
