Sorry guys, I just picked up my boards after their yearly manicure at OKE itching to get out, back feeling better and not enough wind to even get the Wally out!!!!!![]()
Time to do a scrafice I think - MICK!![]()
Sounds like a great idea Kato, an IWC working bee at your house. You supply the BBQ or spit-roast, some drinks and we will all come down and WATCH you paint the house. I'd love to help with the work but I am afraid that the roller and paint may be too heavy for my back to handle.
Well,
Thank you Old Salty,
My back feels like it's on the mend.
Meg's didn't have to deal with a grumpy chunny so she thanks you as well.
Lets hope the wind is back in 2 weeks time or there's enough for a brass monkey bonnie doon run ![]()
Well desperation kicked in.
Drift sent me an SMS Sunday morning 5 - 10 kts on the Inlet and we where off. Blue sky, gentle breeze and the $80 Wally(WITH MOULDY SAIL) came into its own. We went places on the Inlet we have never been before and to see the sand spit has changed soooo much. Gidgets looks a great run. Do not think its is a NM but close. The Angling Club now curves out instead of in and has broken through at the end so much longer run. The outside run on the spit looks great also.
The only thing that sucked was we started sailing on high tide and finished on low tide and had to carry the Wally's so much further up the beach. Had to ask Moondo for oxygen when I finally got to the car park. Chunny and Moondo get well soon there is a new Inlet out there to explore![]()
Addendum to Sunday
Longboarding on a 30 yo Wally in 5 - 10 kts is SOOOOO much better than painting KATO's house![]()
