We are in Maui this week but dont be too jealous, the wind has skunked us on the North Shore so far. Most days sailing at Kihei in Northerlies which is uncannily like the bay on a northerly. One highlight though as I nailed my first carve gybe today and it was captured on film. Commentary by my son (we dropped him on his head when he was a baby).
Good work purple, hopefully you'll score the trade winds in the next few days as there's some great spots to sail.... like out the front of where your staying. Few days of them and you'll also be easily be nailing those jybes
Hey Adrian, I figured out why theres no wind...Im staying in a house with FIVE Collingwood supporters..there's an ill wind blowing right around the world.
No ill wind, great to see Collingwood go down. Kanaha looks like it's on today from the web cam, hopefully you score it or spreks. If theres no wind do the road to Hana it's a great trip or the volcano whatever it's called it's good too, you could do that one in the morning before a sail.
Here are some assorted shots from Maui last week.

Sunset house at Sugar cove is a bloody great house! Friends stayed there a few years back, great place for a beer after a day out sailing the reef.......
Looks like a great trip,
Yep we had a few brews on the lawn. Best thing was that my family didnt mind that I left them to go sailing every day 'cause it was such a cool place to hang out.
Great work Carey and caught on camera too! Hope you paid him a bonus. At least you have some winds. I am replying, sitting in a tent at Byron. All the gear in the car but no wind and no surf! Better than work though. ![]()
