Great to see the large photo of a windsurfer on the front page of this week's Bayside Leader newpaper (July 7) taken at Green Point, titled 'Need for Speed'. Can't see it on their website though otherwise I would post the link.
Well done h20. That's the one. I spent 15 minutes trying to find it so your reseach skills are much better than mine.
he was out yesterday at green point absolutely ripping.
Someone said that he came in injured later (ribs or arm or something). Hope he's alright.
Thats right you heard windaddict. Will the guy who is in this picture please come foward and speak up.
He looks abit like a ghost all black an wight.
maybe he is the long lost ranger
he was sailing very well in full on conditions on sat.....
His injury was right in front of me. He did a huge back loop..finished it still about 3 m in air and then he rotated about another 2-3 times landing on his geat. Impressed he made it back to shore. Just dont know whther it counts as a tripple loop if you beat the board/gear 3:1
Hope he is back on water soon. As i think he was the only one that made sat look easy.
did you see the caption: something about "gusty notherlies being perfect condition for some as this windsurfer shows"
Gusty AND perfect ? (not to mention cold)
Is it just me that prefers a summer SW ?
I went out on the Tuesday and had a hard time as it went offshore and picked up. ![]()
I may write in to correct them but they only print letters about the closed level crossing on Beach Rd ![]()
