Hi all, just checking if someone has recently windsurfed at lake Connewarre and what it is like. I normally windsurf of Anglesea road knight beach, but it is a bit choppy today , so thought I would try somewhere else. Thx MvB
MvB... assuming that was you today at Lake.. looks like you had a great session... unfortunately you had to put up with the weed bed smell but that is the worst it ever is!.. you looked smooth and fast there today....

cool!! i would like to give a go at connewarre too! where do you launch from? do i need a weed fin? how shallow is?
Most of the lake is around waist deep it does vary a little with tide, a weed fin is a must!! Launch site is at the end of Brinsmeads lane there is a picnic ground there.

Hi Red, yes that was me the other day. I had a great session at Connewarre lake. A big thanks to John who lend me his weed fin!!
