I think it's looking more NW on Sunday..... but if it goes more westerly Sue and I will be down there for sure. I don't mind it when it's westerly, a bit gusty but still a lot of fun. Otherwise maybe Rye again?

Snuck in a quick sail today at Rye. Probably 15-18knots. Works well on a WNW and stays quite flat.

Were you out around lunch time today? I saw someone on the Rye web cam, and it looked like you were the only one out?

Yeh, from about 11am to 1:30pm...then the wind died. No one else out.

You need to get a job EJ - a bit of national service didn't do me any harm...OK - I'm obviously just jealous.

Been there already Steve. 3 years of grunt service in the Regular Army was enough for me. Don't think I'll be signing up again anytime soon.

Yesterday felt like spring had come early........with the sun out the water felt quite nice.

Fair point - you've got the look of a killer about you. Think the Regs probably tops my pommy RAF service - which generally involved eating lots of doughnuts and seeing who could make the biggest bacon sanger. Happy days.

And while the rest of us carry the nation on our backs, chained to the desk, EJ is out there swanning around on the old briny!!!

Is that the trigger brothers web cam windaddict? It only takes a snap every minute, is that right?

Yep thats the one, it has the last 20 mins (pics). Looking at it now, it doesn't look all that good wind wise.

Noticed a few guys out around 2pm today (Sat.) but looks as though it's really dropped off now. Anyone still have high hopes from Sunday? Am looking at heading down tomorrow...
