Was keen to sail @ the inlet at inverloch tomorrow and get some flat water time and practice everything out of the chop. Reading a few posts it seems anything with a N in it is no good at inverloch. Of course tomorrow is 35km/h northerly on BOM. N looks to be a direct offshore, is that the reason it's no good and is there any yet flat water options tomorrow nearby or should I just kayak? Cheers.

Never a good idea to sail in an offshore wind. There are some places on the other side of the Inlet like Doyles Rd but it will still be very gusty
As Kato suggested the reason why we do not like sailing on the Inlet on a northerly as it tends to gust up to 100% more than the general wind speed. On a mid tide you will get runs out to Point Symthe.
