After a great success with Race No.1 at Sandy Point,
IWC is please to announce that race no. 2 will be held in Geelong on either 19th or 20th November.
Location and date will be set according to the wind direction and will be advised on IWC fb page and/or on Seabreeze
Looking forward to catching up with our Western Brothers
You will need a weed fin and booties
Chance of a seabreeze in the north end of the bay Saturday, is it possible to run it at Elwood this weekend if forecast holds?
No weed fin or booties required!
Sadly we are postponing the event for the weekend. We have 3 more GPS Free Race events in our events calendar and will be keen to run one in Geelong, Port Phillip Bay and Inverloch. Whilst the forecast looks good for a sea breeze late Saturday, as Jerry has indicated, we are really looking for a solid forecast for at least half a day to make it worthwhile for all who are travelling from each end of the state.
I sailed Elwood tonight, 10 - 15 knots, 8.5 + formula board had me flying along
Water was clearish as well

The seabreeze ended up being pretty light so you made the right call not running the event yesterday.
