Sun was out, solid 20knots+ and a good turnout of crew at Ricketts north. New gear being used for the first time, heaps of fun.
Christened my spanking new 2010 KA Kult 6.4, I think it is now my favorite sail!!! Spotty christened my 2010 Koncept 6.4 for me . It looked awesome as he blasted past me at warp speed, slow down Spotty!!!, you put us to shame. I am going to struggle to get the sail back off him , he loved it.
Bring on more days like this, fingers crossed for a great summer. Hopefully we will get a repeat for the SHQ event at the Pit next weekend.

It was unreal sunny and windy. I was at dendy st . I did' nt know dendy was so good in a s'se . I will have to go back there. the beach is made for windsurfing it's a great place. There was about 30 kiters to one side of hamptom beach then you had about 20 windsurfers to the other side. so every ones happy
I was on me trusty alpha 5.4 and me bro had was on his 5.2 loft sail. Some dude turned up with the new quad fin jp sailboard, looked unreal. i might have to get one of those boards one day. you could skim over all the sand bars at rye with out hitting them. And you would not have to worry about hitting the reef at ricketts. you could just skim right over it like a kite board.
Yep a great Sunday !. I sailed at on my 5.0 comfortably powered up for over 3 hours, left the water with a huge
on my face. Now I am
for the next good session ![]()
Sounds like you guys had a great time yesterday. Not so good down the coast at Inverloch. 10-15 knot s-se with holes everywhere. Barely planing for 3/4 of the day. But plenty of windsurfer out (and new gear) anyway which was good to see. Note to self - sail the bay more often this season!
Fingers crossed for the coming weekend at Sandy.
Was out at Dendy
Really nice day. Had my new (to me at least) 5.8 poison and new 100% skinny. Worked beautifully together.
Couldn't get off the water and I had about 30 "last" runs. So stoked.
About 6 of us at Point Leo. First time there for me. Wind was ok but not amazing and waves could have been bigger but good fun.
