Good flat water spots for a bit of fun

Hi people My dear wife has instructed me we need to move to victoria at the end of the year. which is all good with me. as in return i get new kit[:) where are the best spots for a bit of blasting around on the flat water.

I'd like to say 'here'...but in reality I think Sandy point holds the cup on that one. Plenty of inland lakes in Vic to make the most of also.

I like Pt Fairy's lach for NWers & our local breakwater works well on nuclear Southerlies (beach side) & Northerlies (harbour).

Oh, and save up for a 4/3 wetty.

www.inverlochwindsurf.org.au
A lot of club members are based in Melbourne and take the 1 1/2 hr drive to Invy. Beaches are pristine and plenty for partners and kids to do whilst we are out blasting the Inlet.

what sail sizes do you recomend to get the most year round use. im 75 kg and speen most of my time on anything from 74 lts up to 100 lts

Hi Raggy,
I'm the same weight as you and also use a 75l and 100l board. I use a 6.1 as the biggest on a 100l freestyle(16/17 knots up) then down to a 5.3, 4.7 and 4.2 on the 75 waveboard. See you soon! Luke
