After the forecast dropped off earlier today, it now looks like it's back on again tomorrow morning.

Dawn is 6:15ish.

I'll be there - see you on the water...

Got up at 545 to check the wind, and it was only 15-18 kts! did any one end up going down?

Yup, went down. Was blowing NE at Green Point, wind line a couple of miles out, and not windy out there anyway. Kicked in now, but I'm at work.

The forecast looked more promising . Still got one hour of decent sailing in the morning on my own . But very up and down. Wish I could tune my sail on the fly...

did anyone go out at about 7pm in that 35kt front thingy?

I was at green point whole day sailing/puttering!

Still fun at such a hot day!

Ha ha - yes, I did! I'd been out all afternoon teaching gf to windsurf (got her beach starting on a 99 litre board in 5 - 10 knots of breeze - RESULT!) and was just about to call it a day when it came in - got 5 runs out of it and a couple of vulcan attempts right next to a crowded beach (good entertainment all round) before the wind backed off.

Perfect equipment, perfect place, perfect time - very very lucky sail!

CLAIMED like a Mofo...

I cant believe you pulled that off!

I was on my way to preseason hockey training and the wind was building. It lasted about 10 mins so i was happy!
