One of the guys sailing out of Dawson St. Elwood tonight got his car broken into by some low life scum, we think they must of been watching as he headed out onto the water. Not much we can do to stop it happening just make sure we dont get to complacent with car security.

Funny thing is I sailed there on Wednesday, totally forgot my sail while packing up. Came Back 18 hours later and it was still there. Guess when you have old crap equipment no one wants to steal it even if you leave it there. It was a 2005 Dr X 5.7 in an old Neill Pryde race sail bag.

I saw that bag sitting there and just assumed it belonged to one of the guys still packing up nearby. 18 hours, -You were lucky!

Bunnings are selling combination mini key safe locks for $28 at the moment. Only fits a fairly small key though. Take your car key in to check if it fits. I bought one but had to file some plastic off the finger end of the key.
