Hi anyone,

Thinking of buying a board form Windsurfing Perth and have it sent over.
I believe Windsurfing Perth is a sponsor of this website.
Has anyone done that and is it "safe" (with regards to not losing your money and having the board arriving safely.

Hope I am allowed to ask these questions here.

Thanks.

I bought a board from them unseen years ago, and they were very careful to make sure I didn't think it was in great condition, just to make sure I wasn't disappointed. As it turns out the board was good, and better than I expected.

I also go into their shop every summer to kick tyres, and they have always been helpful.

They are a good shop, and I think you can trust them 100%.

I would check your local stores first as they may have the board you are after or can get it in. This way you minimize risk and cost.

Got to agree with windrider. Unless this is some unique second hand board your local should be able to source the board you want for the same price and there will be less risk to you. It doesn't hurt to ask the question rather than assume you can't get it here.

I bought a new board from them when our local store did not have the 78 litre size I wanted. Very happy with the purchase and the condition it arrived in but I did have to drive to some truck depot deep into the western suburbs to collect it. Well worth the hassle if the local stores don't have what you're after.
