Hey Guys,
Just started around 3 weeks ago windsurfing and have been travelling out to Sandringham because I like the shallow waters beside the marina. The problem is I’m travelling out from Footscray and wouldn't mind finding a similar place on the west side of the bay. Anybody have any idea,,
Cheers

Wish I could help Grossy. Never sailed around there. Perhaps give one of the shops a call, they would know.

Altona is a great spot on S to S.E , Quite shallow sand going out a long way. Only problem in the huge number of kiters there. Driven passed once and saw about 20 kiters and zero windsurfers. Excellent place to learn waterstarting I would think.
I started out of Sandy harbour. Too many moored boats when you're learning. Point Henry, otherside of Geelong has semi flat, reasonably shallow water as well if you feel like a drive.
