Some talk going on about a session at GP on Wednesday.... if it holds..... early start. and then off to work.
Anyone else keen?
Its a great spot. Best place in a northerly.
If you ever have to do the walk of shame its a nice walk on a hot day........
Just give the reef plenty of room.....
No dramas! Still reckon it's the best spot for northerly winds.......
Go to Green Point if you like your skinny jeans and Soy Chai Lattes.
Real Men (and the odd woman) sail at Bono.
Get with the program.
Do the same real men cross the bay?

Much safer to sail at GP in a northerly. I would take the reef any day over those feral locals. Being in Brighton I have found the crap being spoken after being skunked once again much more highbrow.
Whoops, I seem to have accidently stumbled onto a kiteboarding thread...![]()
Hang-on - this is a windsurfing Vic thread. Now grow up you lot, sort out your issues (a few punches won't hurt), buy each other a beer (and one for me) & get back to the real issue - where to sail tomorrow morn!![]()
Probably cop a lot of flak for saying this due to my dislike for the parking rodent situation at Green Point but, I've had some of the most memorable sessions as Green Point and not too many, if any, I'd rather forget, which can't be said for the other location
Each to their own I guess but I've never thought the wind shadow was too much of an issue and have never hit any reef there. Although there is a lone rock a little down wind of launch that Ive stubbed my toe on a few times ![]()
I do think bonno is a more challenging place to sail, so there's probably a lot of good reasons to sail there in the right conditions.
Well - to be a nice social type, just put the word out... if things hold, I aim to be there at 5.30 AM to rig up. An hour and a bit on the water, home to change.... See how it goes....
Worst case, I go for a swim.
Then get a soy latte on the way home, put my skinny jeans on, kiss Jez goodbye and hassle him to finish cleaning the house like a good wife, then head to work on my fixie.
