Thinking about heading down to Sandy to get into the waves this Thu in the Easterly. Does SP work for wavesailing in this direction - looks to be cross off?
I've never wave sailed down there (but sailed the inlet). Any tips for the location?
Hi, yes it most certainly does work on an easterly, when there is a decent swell it can produce perfect down the line wave riding. There are generally 3 main spots to sail, 1) The Gap (turn off at waratah bay), 2) infront of the sandy point caf??/shops, and 3) long arms which is on the ocean side of sandy point inlet.
