Where will we be sailing? What's the go for a wave sail in wsw?

I will be heading down to Park\Carlton. Very little swell at Clifton at the moment so hope will build during the day.

Damian myself and Herman sailed wild, wild Park. Finished (stuffed) by early afternoon. Others sailed at Dorans. Looking good for another session tomorrow and possible sail at Cliffy this afternoon on sea breeze.

Yes us kiters went out later in the arvo once the wind settled down. It was about 15-25 kits by then so lots of fun at Park.

Sleep in, breakfast, pick up all the stuff blown around the yard, down to the butcher and local shop for weekend supplies, lunch, dig out smallest board and sail from shed (wishing I hadn't sold the even smaller stuff), go to Doran's, rig up, launch, hang on for glory or death. Or something along those lines.

Looking good for next 3 days at least. This is Sunday an Mondays forecast for south east.
I've got to go to a beach wedding this arvo (not looking good for that!?) so I might pop down to Mortimer for a quick sail this morning.

Westerly 25 to 35 knots turning southwesterly 30 to 40 knots during the morning.

2 to 3 metres, increasing to 4 to 5 metres during the morning.
Swell
Westerly 2 to 4 metres, tending southwesterly 4 to 5 metres during the afternoon.

Lunch time on could be the go for Carlton once the wind settles down a bit & the swell picks up.
Might have to dig out the old 3.5 thats been gathering dust for the last 20+ years.

Carlton for me

Carlton is ordinary.no swell. cross off at river mouth.

Mortimer solid 30-40 knots. No rubbish either. Get a key from council for the gate.

A Few Snaps from Carlton

If the storm bay forecast holds out we should get n/w 15 to 25 in the afternoon, might give carlton a go for clean waveriding if swell up. Try out the new thruster.

Only foot or so at Clifton,hard to see it getting any bigger today.

Heading Carlton after lunch , swell could build with the crazy weather we have been getting this season !! 3 hours of steady 40/50 knots w/sw wind and good windswell ramps yesterday at Dorans! Carlton will probably be 3/4 mast and 5m cross off by 5pm
