Heading to swan point this morning for a morning sail. Might be ok if the wind follows the forcast but taking the longboard anyway for a cruise

With you in spirit Paul, looked at the point a couple of times with an eye for a sail, looks like it could be good. If you want to piss Johnny and Ben off, tell them I may get to try the new area at St Helens later in the week. Depends on the wind direction. Need a south east.

Later this arvo is an option. Wind looks more reliable with incoming tide. May get there later.

Hey Johnny,
I think Swan Point might rate. I'll be interested in Paul's feedback.

Great shots Steve, wind kept picking up all day,
bit overpowered at times and water a bit chopped up
on incoming tide .

Yep nice work mate. Was pretty hectic in the north this arvo.
Unusually strong SSE/SE all arvo...went up to Kelso, was wild in beauty point!
Great shots Steve.

New sailing spot for me. Turns out I rigged up at the wrong spot (debatable). Wind was light to start off with after dredging across to Hillwood and nearly not making it back changed to the Mistral which was much better. Had a few really nice runs and then the wind became stronger and hooked up the hawk again for a few very powered up runs on the 7. There are quite a few oysters at the spot I sailed from towards the end of the spit and as the tide dropped access was a lot harder over these oyster beds. Moved to the other location where the guys usually sail from only to find you have to drag your gear through knee deep mud to access the deeper water. Will be awesome on a higher tide. Wind was too strong for the 6.3 and had a few out of control runs before calling it quits. Some nice pics Steve
