It is going to be windy, very windy - all day, all around the state.

I'm thinking maybe Moulting Lagoon might be worth a go? NM and Distance.

Our own Lake George.

Another road trip ...

Speed board conditions ...

Alternative for southerners is probably Pittwater or maybe even Doran's

It's about a 3-hr trip from Hobart to Moulting Lagoon on the East Coast. Maybe leave at around 9am, get there midday and leave at about 4pm and home before dinner ...

Happy to go earlier ...

Anyone keen ...

I wont be able to get to ML. Promised Ferg I was going to take him sailing yesterday but went to Port Sorell instead.
Looking at taking him to Pittwater early tomorrow morning, hopefully he can get a sail in before it gets super windy. Looks like I might have to get my gear out as well

Hey
I am at Swansea this week. I have WSTas's Rio with me (thank you) and scared myself today rigged with my 6m Convert, planning faster than ever before and at times being pretty much out of control but totally excited to do it again. I sailed in town from the boat ramp with a good 25 kts WNW. Not REALLY windy for you guys but exciting for me! If anyone does come east this weekend I would love to watch you it action. Not sail, but just look and try to learn. I am amazed by your skills and the pics you post on this forum. Awesome, great, inspirational.
Cheers

The colour of that water doesn't look very inviting.

Will give ML a miss today and probably sail Pittwater.

Definitely gotta get there in a decent NW'ly blow though to see how choppy it gets )hopefully it doesn't)!!
