Best day ever at PB Fast enough and flat! Great to have Daniel along. Was that a water start on his second time on the water? OMG, he can skip the learner's day

I've looked at Paper Beach a few times and thought it may be a good spot to try.

Johnny/Paul/Ben in the Spot Guide you don't recommend Rosevears for beginners, is that correct?
From the photos it looks like a great spot and so close to Lonny

Still no info up on Stanley be good to get that up soon....................... who can do this for Johnny??

Also noticed you have Ulverstone on the NW and Devonport on the Northern. These should probably be together maybe on the Northern.

There's a few southern spots missing still, I'll have a crack at these
Lauderdale front beach
Sandy Bay
Pittwater
Cloudy Bay
Marion Front beach

Other southern which I don't know much about
Taroona
Kingston
Dover

Absolutely correct, far too much current. Even the experienced guys have had lucky saves and close calls at Rosevears.

Unlike places such as lagoon bay there is no reduced tide area, as soon as your in the water your in strong tides....

Can be and IS a fantastic spot but if unprepared could put you off the entire sport.... and we don't want that.

Once you can nail water starts in 10m of water and chop Rosevears is a great spot......

Paperbeach will get a writeup Hamish - there's a few that need putting up - time is not on my side.

Rosey is about 12 minutes from the city - super close, but absolutely not for beginners.

I have Stanley info, tracks, overlays, even current maps with the current channels, all written up. But I'm out of server space.
I need to rework all the pages and compress images etc. Just need time... one day.

I made a judgement call on what was NW and what was North. Decided the Mersey to be the border.
Portsy doesn't really seem NW to me - it has a more Northern feel - but everything else on the other side of the Mersey is NW :-)

Happy to change that if everyone else feels Portsy to be in the NW catagory? How do the Portsy boys feel? Either way, it's easy to change.
