Wow how did that happen!

Being in hobart over the weekend. I was travelling back and forwards over this bridge. Both Sat/Sun it was a solid 40knots, square to the bridge, dead flat and looked awesome. Is this allready a place you sail down Hobart or? is it a no go?

Well done guys, I haven't helped much but looking forward to trying out my new board when it arrives.

Have had many a look at that spot and further up around the corner, but the run is not that long, it is very shallow, with weed and swans and not often that windy. Las tweekend was exceptionally windy, so may have lloked a bit better than it often is!! Well spotted though, it does look good.

The Northern side of the causeway is riddled with logs etc. The southern side is the go but shallow, and there is no way in hell you would stand on the bottom. Really silty like quicksand and sticks like septic. Probably be at the bottom of the 'nice places to sail list'. However, Ken continually states that we are wasting a 45+ knot location, he may be right, or not.

Its good for sea run trout,
but not long run windsurf.
