Wow just checked wind guru, looks like it will be going off its head for 4 days straight......hopefully......you just never know with autumn forecasts but so far so good. Planning on a sail somewhere today, got to keep the calluses up for GI.
I was thinking Dorans today with the more westerly winds then Saturday afternoon Carlton with it swinging more to the NW. Happy to be convinced otherwise!!
Not a bad liitle sail today, gusty but a few small waves. good to see some new faces in the waves. A few snaps of the day from Morgan and the last one shows Rob lakin accepting his complimentry tug from Veitz and German.
Can't believe how hard, ,,you sailed yesterday rob, blowing, ,, a gail at the moment should be great sailing today, have not had a look if there is any surf yet, sailing after 10 am windy windy windy.nice shots morgan.
Bugga bugga bugga, missed out on every thing. I'm keen as today, heading out very shortly, looking at wind explorer doesn't seem to be much swell but can't beat physically checking, so any one can see waves please let know.
not bad sailing with a broken toe, clifton webcam and southarm report are the same as yesterday so should be a few waves still at carlton, wind looks solid at the peninsula
The swell at Clifton is similar to yesterday, maybe a touch smaller and without the bigger sets every 15 minutes or so. South has occasional chest high waves so by gauging that there would be a least something worthwhile at Carlton surely ? have fun !
King buzzy, in one of those moods again ,do I gps or sail two foot, do I gps or two foot mmm two foot or gps or green island training, two foot gps,get a grip son no sheep shagers today make your choice gps or two foot.
14 people on the water wow!!! Very very windy up to maybe 50 knots out the back. Gusty inside. Here are a few snaps from today. Sorry about the crooked horizon, I got totally sand blasted! God bless and goodnight
Sunday was 'Big Sunday' with some very decent size waves. It took its toll on Tim with a nasty sprain/break to his ankle ' ouch' perferming a massive shallow water 'aerial' Anyway, thanks to everyone who turn up to the 4 day 'Carlton Cold Classic'
