Thought I might sneak down for a quick sail today. Last week I scored an awesome sail at Bell Buoy in the easterly cross off conditions and light (10 to 20 kts) but so smooth DTL, probably the best sailing I have ever had on an 85 litre freewave and the smoothest sailable conditions I have ever seen on the north coast. Today was a different deal. The wind went off the chart and the water was a pretty even mixture of chop and spray and there were some moving lumps of water that some may call waves and others may think were just random bits of bumpy water. I decided not to get out there ( I had forgotten to bring my GPS and it was quite cold), but here are a few photos of Felix.
