Hi probably silly question, on google earth Badgers and Bakers Beach line up perfectly for a NW wind. Has anyone had experience in the parallel run along those beaches. I have a place at greens beach and have thought about carting the gear down to run along to Badgers head. Any thoughts or comments. Its about 4 klm each way.

I think Bakers would be the longer run (if you are referring to a straight reach along the beach). I think there are a few less rocks in the water and the land is flatter behind the beach which may mean stronger winds and the bonus is if the wind swings to the west Bakers can be pretty cross shore.
I would be interested to hear what Badgers is like in a northwesterly I have only sailed there a couple of times and the wind was a bit gusty, we launched from the western end of the beach.
