Good conditions today - 18/23 knots cross shore going slightly cross-off. Nice clean swell head high to half mast. Only 2 off us out sailing - tired after 3 hours from 3:30!
Sorry to one up you Paul, but i sailed Outside castles (Cactus) at three quarter to mast high. Wind was light though, prob 12-15knots. Nothing like pumping on take off on a pitching wave of that size!!
Can trump that sellicks was triple mast hi 55-90knts we were on with 2.7m on skate board decks!!!!!!!!! Then I woke up - it was an amazing wild turkey induced dream!
That wave is liquid gold, if u are headin up there again bondage please pm me and i will make an excuse of some sort to the minister of war and finance! had several sails there now this season and i am addicted
No worries Zac. Unfortunately thats it for my Cactus trips this summer. Hopefully go over there again next Nov. I agree that its an awesome & gutsy waveand love the inside section. Would have liked to have pushed it a bit more on the outside section but wind was just a bit too light to hit the lip hard and also a bit spooky out there on my own.
